I am trying to install Flash 11 on my Windows 7 system using IE 9.  I had an existing Flash 10.  I uninstalled Flash 10.  My installation times out at 12%. I have disabled my firewall and virus software.  Still quits at 12%.

Sorry about that- I have attached it as a PDF. I’m not much of a techno guy so I don’t know how to reduce the size to just the once screen.

Thanks

Hi tdnotary,

Nothing is being attached.  Once posted, the image will dispaly inline, with your comment, not as a separate attachment.

When composing your comment, to attach a file, click the Insert Image camera icon.  This will launch the Insert Image dialog window.  Click the Browse button to navigate to the location on your machine that contains the file to attach, then follow the prompts to attach the file.

Are you attempting to install from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer?  If so, please save the file to your desktop and provide the file name of the file.

There's no problem attaching PDF files (see sample attachment to this post).

You need to click "Use advanced editor" on the upper-right corner of the forum editor to get the attachement feature (which will appear on the lower-left corner).

Thank you- I went to some of the other posts and found the link to the direct download page, which worked in a flash.

Hi tdnotary,

While it's great you were able to install from one of the direct links, it would help us tremendously to know the exact error you were experiencing as it will help us in troubleshooting download errors. Do you recall the name of the file you downloaded, that was causing the error?

Thank you in advance.
