FlashPlayer V11 Help??

I am using windows 7, since downloading the latest version of Flash Player I have not been able to watch tv, view some dialogue boxes, hear some sounds, use some primary school educational downloads (eg wordle).  I have repeatedly been asked to download the latest verson of Flash Player which has been down many times.  In my program list I have Flash Player 11 Active X 11.7.700.202, 11 Plugin 11.7.700.202, Media Player 1.1 & Reader X 10.1.7.  I have tried turning off my Firewall which has not helped, I have been through the Adobe help & support topic and made sure internet security options were correct, managed add-ons.  Should I deleted programs and re-install?  If so, which ones?  I am just a general  'home user' and a bit lost on what to do next to fix the problem?  Please help someone.

Do you see Flash Player version in this page?  http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html

If not, your last install/update must have failed by some reasons. It might be better to do clean install (clean your system first and instlal Flash Player): http://forums.adobe.com/thread/928315?tstart=0
