How do I get rid of the install flash player on my computer. When it has been already install on my computer it is a new computer with window 8 on it and flash is pre-install with window 8. I think the size is 11.6 version.

I don't understand what you are asking; can you provide a screenshot of what you mean?

How do I send you a screenshot. I log on to the Pch.com website and when I try to do the slot game I get a message that I should download the lastest version of flash player.  But I did not have this problem last week I was able to play my slots on pch.com.

That's not (repeat: not) coming from Adobe or Flash Player, but the webpage itself. There's a javascript that identifies your browser and the plugins needed for the page. If you right click ANY Flash content you'll see1.jpg

That bottom line will tell you what version you have. If it's LOWER that 12.0.0.38 then yes... you DO need to update it, but... you can't do it here. it has to be updated through Windows Update.

Hi,

Flash Player for Internet Explorer is preinstalled on Windows 8 and above and is updated by Microsoft.  A new version was released last week.  If you haven't done so already, you'll need to run Windows Update to update the pre-installed Flash Player version.

Navigate to the Control Panel and then select Windows Update and look for the 'Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 8' item (the exact wording may vary depending on the OS version), select it and instlal it.

More specifically... With Windows 8 you'll find the control panel either as a tile on your start page

1.jpg

or on the desktop in Windows Explorer

2.jpg

In the Control Panel, it's under System and Security

3.jpg

Then, under Windows Update click "Check for Updates"
