How can Flash be used in Chromium?

Hello,

This is my setting:

OS: Mac 10.10.1 (14B25)

Browser: Chromium 42.0.2299.0 (64-bit)

Flash Player (via System Preferences): NPAPI Plug-in version 16.0.0.305 is installed.  //  PPAPI Plug-in version 17.0.0.93 is installed.

When I visit an page where flash player is required my browser sends me to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/‌. After installing it says in yellow background: 'Note: Adobe Flash Player is already installed, but disabled. Click here for more information.'.

However, when I follow the instructions, there is no flash player in the list of plugins to enable/disable.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the flash player a dozen times. The result is always the same.

How can I make the flash plugin work in chrome?

edit: I dont know if this is important. Usually when I installed Flash Player  I had to close the browser. Strangely, I do not have to close the browser.

You'll need to download the standalone PPAPI Flash Player for your platform.  I'm thinking that our website confuses the user-agent for Chrome and Chromium, as Flash Player is a built-in component of Chrome proper.

You can get the PPAPI installer from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
