How to install Flash Player with Windows Vista 64 bit?

IE 9, Windows Vista 64-bit, Flash Player quit working and won't install. Error Adobe Flash Player 11.1.102.55.  I have deactivated User Accounts and Security, gone to Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash and Run as Administrator NPSWF32_FlashUtil, and still not working.  One suggestion was to run an add-on from Macromedia, but that failed and I don't know what the add-on was.  Have also run System Restore and restored all my Internet security setttigs to default.  Nothing is working!

Do a clean install.  How do I do a clean install of Flash Player?

At the install phase, use this installer: Flash Player for Internet Explorer

I have done a clean install with 64-bit uninstall and installed many times. Installation always says "successful." Still not working.

At the install phase, use this installer: Flash Player for Internet Explorer

If you can not see the moving sphere: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html

Check the following:

Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer 9

ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer 9

Also check this:

In I.E.9, click Tools, click Internet options, click Security tab, ensure that the Internet security level is Medium-high.

The ActiveX Filtering link fixed it! Thank you and bless you. I have spent many hours on this problem. Again, so grateful.

Run as Administrator NPSWF32_FlashUtil

That is the plugin utility for browsers like Firefox; nothing to do with Internet Explorer.
