I'm using Flash 14.0.0 and Shock 14.0.0179 with Firefox 32.0

I'm using Flash 14.0.0 and Shock 14.0.0179 with Firefox 32.0. I'm continually getting a 'Reload' or 'Submit Crash report' message. I cannot open a 'video' clip in Facebook at all. If I use IE as my browser...then I can do everything, with no issues. I have 'uninstalled' and 'reinstalled' both Flash and Shock a number of times. I have followed all the steps suggested to validate Flash and Shock, all Plugins are 'active'.

What more can I do to be able to use Firefox as my browser??

First, reboot if you haven't already done so, and see if the problem persists.

If that doesn't work, launch Firefox and choose Help > Restart with Add-Ons Disabled. If the issue goes away, it's a compatibility problem caused by another plug-in on your system. You'll want to re-enable your plug-ins one-by-one until you find the source of the crashes.

Typically this is either a security / anti-malware tool, ad blocker, or a "Capture Flash Video" plug-in doing something invasive and causing instability.

I've tried what you suggested with 'rebooting' and 'restarting with add-ons disabled' but that did NOT resolve the issue. So Here is the data you requested:

1) OS = Windows 8.1 Pro (Surface)
2) Firefox = 32.0
3) IE = 11.0.9600.17239
4) Flash = 14.0.0

Explanation of Problem:

I tried the HTML 5 video suggestion and could only see the HTML 5 video. It opened and played like a champ...! Looks like my issue is with Flash...!!

Check if you can see an HTML5 video

See the following videos in an HTML5 supported browser.

If you can see the HTML5 video properly, but can’t see the non-HTML5 video, there could be an issue with Flash Player.

I spent a bunch of time with this today, and I'm unable to reproduce it.

I'm using Firefox 32 with Flash Player 14.0.0.179 on a Microsoft Surface Pro 2 with Windows 8.1. I installed FuzeShare, Youtube Downloader 1.0.1 from trafficterminal.com and the Noia Fox theme, and I compared the modified Firefox settings with mine and I don't see a big difference anywhere.

The stack traces on the crash dumps listed are all just the generic "some message got lost between Flash and Firefox, so Firefox decided Flash was hung and killed it" crash signature, which doesn't really tell us anything useful.

You're the second person that's reporting a similar issue, but I'm not seeing a huge uptick in the volume of this signature or anything that would indicate that something has recently made it worse.

So, I'm back to trying to figure out what's different between your machine and mine. Do you have any anti-virus, anti-malware, firewall kind of stuff installed?
