I'm attempting to update Adobe Flash Player 16.0.0.305 on Windows Server 2012 R2 to version 17.0.0.188. I downloaded Flash Player 17.0.0.188 from the following URL then launched the executable:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_ax.exe
I then received this error:
When I run Windows Update, no updates for Flash Player are found. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hi Varun,
Prior to receiving your reply, I uninstalled Adobe Flash Player 16.0.0.305 via the Control Panel -> Programs and Features. Although I did this, four Flash Player version 16.0.0.305 files were still "stranded" in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash. I ran Windows Update multiple times, but Windows Update did not update these files.
I then downloaded the Flash Player version 17.0.0.188 installation package from here: https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_17.0.0.188_archive.zip. I ran the flashplayer17_0r0_188_winax.msi file and this installed the Flash Player 17.0.0.188 ActiveX component and upgraded the files located in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash.
I've run Windows Update again, but it does not show a version 18 of Adobe Flash Player available.
