Issue when live streaming a program! Constant deja vu!

New Here ,
Sep 03, 2016 Sep 03, 2016

Windows 8.1

Current and updated flash player.

Browsers: IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera

When streaming a live program it constantly jumps back about 30 seconds and shows the same footage that was streamed, it can do this more than once, then all of a sudden will jump to what is currently being streamed. Then a in about 30 seconds it will do the same - jump back 30 seconds - show previously streamed footage and then jump to current footage.

This has happened on a couple of sites:

www.supersport.com

www.channel4.com

- I have tried things like uncheck the 'Enable Hardware Acceleration'.

Does this happen with any other 'live' streams? the two sites you pointed to are either login/subscription or region specific sites that seem to be not accessible to just anyone.

These are the only 2 I use - do you have a suggestion for a site that I can test with?

The content provider is going to be in the best position to identify the issue and work with us to come up with a remedy.  My guess is that they're using a third-party video encoder and it's doing something weird that we don't like.  If they're using our streaming technology, they'll have dedicated support contacts to work with already, and we can work with them to collect forensics and identify a root cause.
