Latest version of Flash player for Firefox 2.x

The current version of Flash player requires at least Firefox 3.0. What is the latest version of Flash player that will work on Firefox 2.x or below? The archive download sections doesn't seem to have that information.

Hi, I know the archives doesn't supply that info and I don't know where you would find it. Perhaps using one of the Search engines. That's the only thing I could suggest.

Hi, I've done a little research and find that Firefox version 2.0.0.20 came out around 12/2008. FF vs 2.0.0.1 in 12/06 and FF vs 2.0.0.2 in 2/2007. I may be able to get you close to that time line for Flash Player.

What FF version 2 are you using?

I don't have a specific version. I am actually trying an patch update software and noticed that Flash Player 10.3 requires at leasat FF 3. That's why I start looking for the latest version of Flash that work on the old version of FF. I have various version of FF client on the network but I only need the latest version of FP that works with old FF client.

Thanks, but that would put me into searching through all of the Platforms and I don't have that kind of time. All I can do is try to get you close to the Flash Player version that would be applicable to those dates I posted for the FF versions.

Otherwise, you'll just have to pull out an archive and try to find one that works. The archive files are quite large as I'm sure you've noticed and to go thru all Platforms of 10.3, 10.2, 10.1, etc takes a lot of time.

If you have FF vs 2.0.0.2 for example I could get you close to a particular version of Flash Player. That's the best I can do.

I believed FF 2.0.0.20 is the latest version of the 2 series. So that should be fine.

Hi, You will use the archive vs 9.0.151.0 or 10.0.12.36. These are the versions for 11/17/2008 to 2/24/2009. FF vs 2.0.0.20 came out 12/2008. I'd try the 9.0.151.0 first. There will be a readme file.
