My thunbnails not showing up in ANY browser

i use chome mostly. But my friends pics and ads or games not showing tpics/thumbnails. also does it on all other site. ALL browsers doing this. running win 7. i have unistalled and reinstaled the lastest version. even shockwave and java. still just get a little pic of a paper with corner torn off. please help

Sounds like you've inadvertently disabled images in Chrome:

• Navigate to Chrome menu > Settings.

• Click Advanced Content settings.

• Select Content settings... under the Privacy heading

• Scroll down to find Images, here you can enable or disable Images

• Also check to be sure Javascript is enabled.
