Hello,
For something like 4 months I can't watch a NBA game properly nor a Youtube video as it's always kind
of laggy and not smooth. It's watchable, but not perfect (about 28 to 29 fps according to fraps but it looks really sluggish at times)
I even bought a new computer because I thought it was coming from there but the
issue is still there. My configuration :
Windows 7/8 (doesn't matter, doesn't solve the issue)
Radeon HD 5450
AMD FX 4130 Quad-Core Processor 3,8 Ghz
4 Go of DDR3 RAM
Hard disk of 500 Go
About 30-40 % of my CPU is used when I run the LP according to my task manager
so the problem does not come from there. And it's not my connection as I rarely
watch games live. I tried to uncheck the material acceleration, no result. I
tried to lower the quality of the video, no result. Do you have any idea where that could come from ?
I hope you'll be able to help me.
Thank you.

LP has a known and documented bandwidth issue for the last three seasons. It'll get worse come playoff time, just wait and see. Unfortunately Adobe can't do anything about that. I've just about given up in YouTube videos online. If I really want to watch something, I'll download it, and watch it in VLC media player, especially if it's smothing longer than ten minutes. I get a bit of lag on nine different machines (XP, Vista 7, 8 & 8,1 ALL 64 bit Corei5 with min 4Gb RAM and 1Gb VRAM as well as OS 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 & 10.9 with Corei5, 16Gb RAM and 2Gb VRAM on each)

Well actually that's what I'm currently doing to watch the games properly but I had no problem until a few months ago... And how can the connection have an impact on the smoothness of the video when it's fully buffered ? I don't really get it...
Anyway, thanks for your answer, but I still keep hope to find a solution (someday) !

Not the connection.... Bandwidth at the site... NBA admitted in 2012 that they didn't have the server bandwidth to handle all the people viewing streaming playoff games, thanks to more and more mobile viewers jumping into the fray.
Either they upgrade their hardware or it'll get really bogged down again this April and May.

Ok, now I know this is a Adobe Flash Player issue only, I tried the HTML5 player on Youtube and surprise, it's perfectly smooth ! It wouldn't be ok if I was not paying to use the NBA League Pass (and I can't switch to HTML5 there).
An answer from Adobe would be very much appreciated, It starts to be really annoying and irritating. Thank you.

Yep blatantly an adobe issue. I think people have just tired of chasing Adobe but there were quite a few posts a while back bemoaning sluggish playback relating to League Pass. Everyone was able to playback smoothly under HTML5 or using smart phones. I don't know if it will work but if you try rolling back to Flash 11.5 it will likely run much smoother. Adobe versions beyond 11.6 have caused a great many problems but they are not acknowledging, see this thread

Waw, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to have this problem. Thank you very much for giving me this link Scottyboy99, hope Adobe will solve the issue real soon.
