need help

My Flash player quit working. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail any ideas?

FYI I've tried everything Pat has mentioned in other threads stillcan not get flash to work

You don't mention your OS or browser version.

Windows XP Professional and I just upgrade to IE 8 but was having the

same problem on 7

Ok, let's list again the basic steps that mostly lead to a working Flash Player

• download the Flash Player uninstaller from http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157
• close all browser windows and run the uninstaller
  • for Internet Explorer, start it via Start -> Run -> iexplore -extoff
• install Flash Player from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
• check if installation was successful at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
  • for Internet Explorer, click Tools -> Manage Add-ons
  • find Shockwave Flash Object, and make sure it is enabled (you may need to show All add-ons)

Thanks Pat, but it loads every time shows as enabled in the manage add

on's but will not play. I've tried multiple sites (by the way the one

you sent is down). I can tell it loads because on the load site the

little square box that's blue disappears than nothing. I appreciate the

help this doesn't seem to be working I tried it after I read it on

another thread.
