Hi
Flash player automatically downloaded version 21.0.0.182 to my MacBook Pro OS 10.10.5
I play a computer game (WGT golf) and this version seems incompatible with my favourite game.
I am wanting to know what the previous two versions were so that I can uninstall 21.0.0.182 and reinstall the one of the previous versions.
Thanks
Kay

Hi,
You can get the previous version, follow this link : https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/install-previous-version-flash-player.html
Also, if you can give a description of the problem you are facing in more detail with the latest version:
Please, reply with following details:

Is this the previous version? I have just installed El Capitan so am now on Version 10.11.3
My web browser is Safari Version 9.0.3 (11601.4.4)
The web page is: www.wgt.com
It is very difficult to explain the problem but here goes:
This is an online golf game. It has 2 aspects to play it: 1: You move a marker to determine direction. 2: You use a meter at the bottom of the screen to determine distance, but this also affects direction as well. The aim is to hit a designated mid-point on the meter by pulling the meter back to the distance you want to hit the ball, and then releasing it at the mid-point. If you don't release it at the mid-point this affects the distance and direction that the ball travels. With the current flash version, when in the putting screen, it is virtually impossible to move the meter to the desired point along the scale to achieve the distance you want to hit, and it is impossible to stop the meter at the mid-point. It just goes past it. The meter appears to work for one putt, but not thereafter.
In addition, when trying to move the marker and/or move the meter, the computer goes into a loop (i.e. you get the colored ring that indicates the computer is working hard), the fan kicks in harder, and often you get a message: "Can't Connect to WGT".
It is customary for most people who play this game to line up their putts thus deciding where to move the aim-marker to, by looking at the shot in 'reverse view' (an option provided by the website). When you go into reverse view, it seems to exacerbate the above problems.
I don't know if you are from Adobe, but I am not the only Mac user playing this game who is experiencing this problem. See the following link: is Flash a thing of the past..!! - World Golf Tour
It is impossible to take a screenshot of this, I think, because it is something that happens in action.
Thanks again

Hi,
This link might help you with the previous version query Flash Player 20.0.0.306‌
Meanwhile, we will investigate into the issue with the latest build.
Thanks!

Hi,
We don't advice you to have the previous builds, due to some known security issues. You may also try with our beta build

How do I know this is a legitimate download and not some sort of virus?

Hi,
This is a genuine adobe maintained page. You can trust it.

Thanks for that.
I tried it. It makes no difference. The same issues still exist. Is there someone at Adobe that can look into this? There are many many players of the WGT game that have the same issues.

Hi,
Can you try with the latest release version, 21.0.0.197? By their nature, beta versions are unstable. Since you installed a beta version previously, you are now in the beta channel and not the release channel. To try the release version, download the beta uninstaller posted at the bottom of the http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html‌ page. After uninstalling go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download and install the latest release version. If you continue to experience problems it's best to file a bug at https://bugbase.adobe.com and provide as much information as you can (OS, browser, hardware information, graphics display information, etc.) I have tried to reproduce the bahaviour, but am not familiar with the game, so not sure if I was following the correct steps to reproduce and didn't notice the behaviour you describe. I'm using an early 2009 Mac Pro 2x2.36 HGz Quad-Core Intel Xeon with 8 GB of memory and NVIDIA GeForce GTE 120 graphics card with 512 MB memory.

Hi Maria
I am afraid that version 210.0.0.197 is no better. I have looked at the bugbase but I don't think I am technologically savvy enough to fill in that form.
I have a suggestion:
I presume you had to create a profile on WGT in order to play? If so, maybe we could play a game together and if you have access to Skype we could share screens and I could show you what happens. I don't know where you are located in the world but I'm sure we could try and make it work.
I know for a fact that I am not the only Mac user that is continuing to experience these problems.
Thanks
Kay

Hi,
We released version 21.0.0.213 yesterday. Can you try this version, available at get.adobe.com/flashplayer, and see if it helps?

Hi Maria
For me the new version is working much better. For others, not so. What seems to happen is that when putting, if you go into reverse view and try & move the marker to line up the putt, the CPU goes into overdrive - others report that on their Activity Monitor the flashplayer really spikes - which then results in the marker being almost impossible to move and the putting meter being almost impossible to move - and ultimately the putting meter zooming past the midpoint (which is the point you need to hit to make an accurate putt).
I presume you are playing with the "starter" balls - which are the balls WGT gives you when you start playing. I tried with these and didn't experience the same problems.
But as I said, it has improved for me so thank you for listening.
Keep working on it: and keep reading the WGT Forums - the latest which explain the issue are:
flash player and cpu usage - World Golf Tour
Thanks Kay
