Problems when right clicking while playing online games

I just upgraded to Windows 10. I have an MSI computer, Intel Core 2 duo CPU 32-bit operating system, x64-based operating system.

I have played games regularly on the www.worldwinner.com website since 2008 with no problems. Since upgrading, two of the games can't be played, I get this message: "The Price Is Right can't be played in your current browser, but the fun doesn't stop here!" This is when I am using the new Microsoft Edge browser. I can still play those two games when I switch to the Internet Explorer browser.

In both browsers when I play Flash games that require right clicking to execute moves, a menu pops up with "Settings, Global Settings, About Adobe Flash Player 20.0.0.272..." If I can't move the mouse out of the way quickly enough and accidentally click on one of them, another menu pops up. During the time the other menus are on the screen I cannot play the game. I want to STOP the Adobe Flash Player menu from popping up when I right click.

Finally, more frequently with the Edge browser and occasionally with the Internet Explorer, since the upgrade I have problems with my computer freezing for periods of time, sometimes a couple of seconds, sometimes for several minutes. Nothing works at all at these times, not the mouse, not the keypad, not the keyboard, I can't close any window or open any window, change browsers. Not every time I messages such as: "Display has stopped working" or "Display drivers not installed".

I have tried to go back to the previous version of Windows, but it says I've added other accounts since the upgrade and must delete those accounts before the upgrade can be removed. I haven't changed anything on the computer since installing the upgrade.

I have had the same issue, different OS. There is not a fix for the irritating right click pop-up from Flash player during gaming that I have found. What I finally did was install Google Chrome. Though it still wont let me play those two games in Chrome (which is okay with me personally, but may not be for others), it doesn't have that pop up during the right click when I play through the Chrome browser. (As for the two games you are unable to play in Chrome or Edge browsers, they can still be accessed when you play through the old internet explorer browser, BUT you will get that annoying Flash right click pop up there).

As far as the lag in gameplay due to the slow mouse/cursor, I also experienced this after I upgraded to Windows 10. It was so bad that I almost went back to the previous version of windows without even trying to figure out the cause. I found that I needed to update several drivers after upgrading to Win 10. It was a process...

Thanks for the info. I just got a brand new computer and find I'm having the same problem. I will switch to Chrome and see how it goes. I wanted to go back to my old version of Windows, but the computer said I had to undo a change I made after the Windows 10 update and nothing had been added, so now my husband can use that computer and I will play with the new one. LOL

First, confirm that ActiveX Filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

Internet Explorer 11 and Edge introduce a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.

You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:

If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.

In terms of the right-click issue, did this behavior change recently in the games that you're playing? The context menu has been around forever -- it's not like it's something new that we just added.

A couple links to affected games would be useful.

The problem started when I upgraded to Windows 10, immediately.

I play the game Luxor, which invokes shooting colored orbs at different places in a chain of orbs. The right click button is used to exchange the current orb for the next in line.

Since I upgraded, right clicking causes an Adobe menu to pop up and if I accidentally left click on it another page opens OR a different tab in the pop-up menu opens and doesn't respond to clicking on the Close button.

I haven't checked recently, but the game The Price is Right would not open at all in Microsoft Edge. It did still open in Internet Explorer.

Okay, that makes sense. I thought I remembered seeing a similar bug come through last week. We're working with Microsoft to get it resolved. I don't have an ETA at this time. We ship updates monthly, but it's not exactly at the top of the priority list. I'd give Chrome or 64-bit Firefox a shot as a workaround for the time being.
