Hi I am new to the forums.

I am getting an adobe flash player security pop up every time I go to my email inbox

It says:

adobeERROR.JPG

I dont know what this is so everytime it pops up I close it by clicking X.

Is there anything I can do to stop this and can someone tell me what it is?

could it be a virus or some sort of spyware?

thanks.

Hi, I'm not sure what to make of that as I've never seen it before. The website is stated there, do you recognize it? Strange that is only pops up when you access your email account. Can you ask your email account Help section?

I wouldn't allow it either unless I knew what it was.

Closing all window browsers and running your Anti-Virus would problably be a good idea.

Maybe someone else may have an answer and reply to you.

Thanks,

hey thanks for the reply, I have no clue what that site is.

Do you know what javascript:parent.payload34170 is all about?

because it looks every suspicious to me.

I've tried scanning with Ad-aware and Malwarebytes on safe mode many times and deleted everything they found, but the message still pops up.

Hi, No, I don't. Most everyone uses javascript but I've never seen that. I don't know what that other site is either. It's a .com site, but what the initials stand for I don't know.

I'd look in the Logs for MBAM and see if they contain any reference to any of these listings in that message. I don't use Ad-aware but they may have a log also.

I'm not sure if MBAM allows a screenshot to be sent or not. However I believe you can email them and perhaps describe this and maybe get an answer.

Hope that helps as I would just continue closing it. If it's not popping up except on your emal, try to find out from there.

I use Hotmail and they have a terrific help section. Maybe yours does too.
