Ok for the past few days my use of certain game sites/video playback as been impossible, i have tried everything & tried 4 different browsers & still the same issues. I have followed all the fixes on Adobe step by step, i have ran allsorts of clean up utilities/malware checks etc etc & still the problem remains. I also did a factory reset of my laptop yesterday, a completely clean install back to new & yet again, as soon as flash is utilised the cpu usage is spiking at 100% and running really poorly.
Help !!
I am currently back to using firefox, but i have used palemoon, Opera, Chrome all with the same issues.

"I also did a factory reset of my laptop yesterday, a completely clean install back to new & yet again"
Did you format the hard drive and reinstall, or just do a factory restore?
I have tried everything & tried 4 different browsers & still the same issues.
If you're seeing a spike in all three different, separate, plug-ins, odds are there's something outside of Flash Player, using it, that's causing it to spike the CPU, because ActiveX and the standard plug-in are NPAPI, and PepperFlash is PPAPI. Two different plug-in formats.
If you did a "factory restore" but DIDN'T reformat the hard drive, then whatever it is, probably a rootkit, wasn't removed and you just gave it a fresh environment to operate in.

Mike i'm not computer savvy but i just did a clean install from my operating system (based on the desktop) which basically reset my laptop to as it was when it was new. How would i know about the drives and how would i reformat them ?

Trust me, if you'd reformatted it, you'd know. There are no less than three (3) warnings that "Reformatting will erase ALL DATA - Are you sure you want to do this?" before you can do it.
The problem with "Rootkits" and certain adware, is that a "factory reset" wil restore your Operating system with them intact. It's like repainting a dead car. It looks like new, but the same old problems are under the hood.
