I was attempting to file a bug on this but the site is not loading for me. You can reproduce this using the following steps.

1. Create an HTML page with a Flash instance on it.

2. In the HTML add an HTML text input positioned over the Flash instance and run it in the browser.

3. Type into the text input.

4. Click into the same text input at any position other than the current position.

5. Try to type more text in the text input.

Expected results:

The text input continues to work.

Actual results:

The text input no longer accepts input and the browser makes a sound each time you attempt to type.

I am using Firefox 28 and OSX 10.9.2. This same example works in Safari. Also, wmode needs to be set to opaque for the text input to appear over the Flash instance.

Thanks.  I think our IT folks are doing maintenance on some of the public-facing infrastructure this week.  The forums were down for scheduled maintenance yesterday.

I've opened a bug on your behalf with the engineering team, and we're investigating.  Also, if you have a URL that reproduces the issue handy, that would help speed things along.
