Update says, FP 10 ax debug . Is this correct?

Hi,

I went to the adobe site to update my flashplayer

to the 10.1.82. It installed that but the file on my dsktop says -FP 10 ax debug- Is this right? Is that the update name?

I dont know alot about this but im learning quickly. my flashplayer has been not letting my daughter in to her virtual pet site and i

thought maybe the flash needed updated, which it did but i dont know if i downloaded the right thing. Any help would be soo great!

FYI- my computer is on dial up and it takes sosososo long to download and run anything. Also I have Windows xp 2000,

Does anyone know what this ax debug is or what it does? Now when i got to the online game an "action script error has occurred" comes up.

What is that and how do i fix it? it says Error 2058 Error decompressing the data

I don't know from where you downloaded the debug version of Flash Player; if you are not a developer, you certainly don't need it.

Do the following

open Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs;
uninstall Flash Player;
download http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe and save it to disk;
close all browser windows, then run the downloaded installer.

Please ignore the previous instructions; these are slightly different:

download the FP uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html (save to disk);
download the offline ActiveX insaller http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe (save to disk);
now close all browser windows, then run the downloaded uninstaller, followed by the installer.

I was not sure if the uninstaller was the newest version, that's why I gave you the earlier instructions. I have now verified that the uninstaller is indeed new.
