I've upgraded my flash player plugin but I have the problem in object. When I open a video on youtube, or megavideo or other flash videos it's all ok, but when I try to put the full screen mode I have only the audio, and a white page. It's your problem or what can I do?
Windows XP 32 bit
Firefox 3.6.3 32 bit
Flash player version WIN 10,1,53,64
Edit: I've noticed that this problem is only when hardware acceleration is on. If I disable it then full screen mode is ok, even if I put it on another time. But if I close the page and reopen it with hardware acceleration actived the problem is represented.
Now, sice I have an old VGA that is not supported by hardware acceleration I can disable it permanently, but I would like to know what is the problem.

You have answered your own question: don't use hardware acceleration if it does not work as expected.

Yes but if I were not able to find this solution how could I try? Not all the users can do this, and I'd like to know why it happens, I think that flash player should recognize the hardware installed in my pc, so disable hardware acceleration automatically...

It's not only the hardware, but also software (device driver) that may not fully support hardware acceleration.

Please do not post in all-uppercase; it is very hard to read!
Also, this is a user-to-user forum; you do not address Adobe here.
To disable hardware acceleration, right-click on any online Flash object and select 'Settings...'. On the 'Display' panel, uncheck 'Enable hardware acceleration', then click 'Close'. It's really not such a "difficult change".

It may not be so "difficult" to execute, but how would the average lay-user know to change just the right setting in the first place? I'm sure you'd agree that this is a significant regression in usability. Maybe a "Troubleshoot..." option in the context menu which at some point would offer to disable hardware acceleration would be nicer.

Quick fix:
1. Right-click in the standard youtube video window (non-full screen).
2. Choose 'Settings...' from the Flash Player's pop-up menu.
3. Uncheck the 'Enable Hardware Acceleration'
4. Click 'Close'.
Full-screen should now work......

I has a similar issue and was able to solve it. It appears to be a problem with co-existance of certain adobe software products (so much for regression testing boys).
windows 7 workstation with
Adobe reader 9.x (didn't take note of the exact version).
Adobe flash 11 (latest at time of post)
Adobe shockwave (latest at time of post)
Adobe Air (didn't take note of version).
other software (not important)...
I tried the hardware acceleration non-sense. Worthless advice as it didn't work for me.
Solution:
Uninstalled all adobe software (all 4 that I had installed).
Observed that now youtube showed that I didn't have flash installed. That was a good sign to me.
Installed latest Adobe reader, adobe flash, and adobe shockwave. Didn't bother to install Adobe air.
Everything works fine now.

There's a simple way to check whether your graphics card & driver supports H.264 video hardware decoding which is the flavour Adobe uses in Flash player 11x.
Simply go to http://www.youtube.com/html5 At the foot of the page, you'll see three bars. If the centre one is red, then enabling hardware acceleration is little more than an exercise in futility because either your graphics card, or the driver doesn't support it.

I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet. I am a flash developer, and I just spent about 20 trying to debug a fullScreenController class that I am writing because I couldn't figure out why going to fullscreen mode was completely blank.
Turns out it is the stupid plugin update!!!! By turning off video acceleration my code worked. 20 hours of my life that I will never get back. Thanks a lot Adobe!!!
Now, can you fix this so that people who use my software don't waste 20 hours of their lives, or should I just put a comment on my product that says, "If you want to view this in full screen, right click and deselect "video accelerator because Adobe has an error and refuses to fix it because they are retarded."

Spending time to try and solve complex puzzles is good for the brain. Stems off Alzheimer's I'm told.
But a simple search of the Adobe knowledge base would have saved you 19 hours and 55 minutes of your precious time: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/839/cpsid_83952.html
