If you go to the "manual downloads page" http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ there are two installers for XP/Vista/7etc.

Choose the one for Internet Explorer, run it, and see if that helps.

But that's why I suggested it.
There are TWO plugins.
One for other browsers... which you said is working.
The other... IE... which isn't wroking... should be downloaded and installed... or reinstalled.
Before you do that though, run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to remove the installer files.
THEN reinstall the player for IE.

Hi Garrett, Using IE, check in Manage add ons (all add ons) and make sure Shockwave Flash Object..ActiveX Control ...
Flash10e.ocx(version 10.0.45.2) is listed and enabled. Post back if anything different is listed or if there is no Shockwave Flash Object.
You need to run as Administrator in order to have permission/authority to download the ActiveX Control that Flash Player installs and also to write to the Windows Registry. I'm not saying you don't, just a FYI in case you didn't use that account.
Also go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash Right click on the Flash folder and post back all files listed there.
Are you using any ad-block or pop-up blocker software?
What Anti-Virus do you use?
Just asking some questions, etc to try to find out why you are having problems with IE.
Thanks,
eidnolb
