win32 error flash player

hi, i am new on this forum. i am having trouble installing adobe flash player onto windows vista. its giving me a trouble saying it's not a win32 application. is there a way to bypass this error?

This message indicates that you most likely have a corrupted download. Download the offline installer

• for Internet Explorer http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe (save to disk)
• for all other browsers http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe (save to disk)

Close all browser windows, then run the appropriate installer(s).
