Adobe Flash not finding camera

When I go to use my flash player in Firefox on my mac, I am unable to "find my camera" but my camera works for all other applications. It also picks up my microphone as well. My camera is built into my laptop. Any suggestions?

You probably need to give up on the sites which need Flash Player, as Flash Player closes down forever in 4 weeks.

I still need to use it for work over this next month and they require it
through Firefox.

Have you given permission to Firefox to use the camera?

In Firefox, go to about:preferences#privacy > Camera > Settings

As OP said, Flash Player is reaching end-of-life at the end of the year.  All browsers will drop support for Flash Player.  If your work requires Flash Player do they have plans to migrate to some other technology prior to Flash Player's end-of-life?
