Hi,

I would really appreciate help from anyone. I have windows 10 the latest Anniversary Update. I use Internet explorer 11 that comes with windows 10. The issue that I'm having is when I use Internet explorer 11 and I go to you tube to9 run videos they only run using html 5 How can I get the videos for you tube or any video site to use the flash player using Ie 11 I have adobe flash player 23 (ppapi) I have shockwave flash object enabled in the addons I have active x filtering turned off. I would Like to know how to disable html5 for Ie 11.

Thanks so much!

P.S. I do not have the flash player 23 Npapi Installed but I did have it installed and that did not work either.

Hi,

From windows 8 onwards, Flash Player for IE browser is embedded by Microsoft. Since you are using Windows 10, you will not be able to install/uninstall Flash Player(ActiveX) for IE/Edge browser. Adobe Flash Player PPAPI is for chromium based browsers and Flash Player NPAPI is for Netscape browsers like firefox.

If Flash Player is enabled, and ActiveX Filtering is disabled, Flash should work correctly.  Does Flash work on other pages, for example, http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about or http://www.homestarrunner.com/, or other sites?

Does it work if you enable compatibility mode:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11?

Thanks!

No it does not. Let me ask, because flash does work with other browsers with exstentions Like Maxthon, Google Chrome, and Firefox. My desktop computer has a 4 speaker system2 in the fron't 2 in the back  and of course a subwoofer. How can I get youtube videos that run in flash to play out of all 4 of my speakers?? I'm not looking for saurround sound. I just want all of the youtube viideos or any videos that I8 play for that matter to play out of all 4 of my speakers?

Thanks

Steve
