Why or What is the helper tool don't remember having to load this before for flash player

This is a change in terminology on macOS 10.12 due to the APIs in use.  It's a system dialog, as such, the text couldn't be modified to what it was before.

Ya, well if the helper tool installs Yahooo on my i-mac pro I will go ballistic.

Flash Player Mac installer do NOT install any third party software.  If some third party software is installed, then a malicious non-Adobe Flash Player installer was used.

Correct. It did not install anything but the Flash update on my mac. All good. But that warning message scared me.

I imagine that they replied to the thread, which means that as a participant in the thread, they get email updates when anything else gets posted.  They probably don't know that they can come back and un-follow the thread to stop receiving updates and are replying to the emails....

Anyway, since this thread seems fairly devoid of utility at this point, I'm going to lock it to spare everyone involved from future email notifications.
