It is absolutely ridiculous for them to do this when the pandemic is still going on and peoples' mental health is lower than ever. It's just plain insensitive. It's like asking to be responsible for multiple suic*des, like have they even thought this through?

It goes without saying that someone who is driven to hurt themself has MUCH bigger issues going on. They need help from a mental health professional, not a software developer.
Long story short, the decision to end Flash Player at the end of 2020 was made long before Covid by the makers of your browsers and operating systems. Adobe didn't have much say in this. And there's no stopping it now. The good news is there's no shortage of non-Flash-based entertainment online. After the dust settles, you'll probably never miss Flash Player.
Happy Holidays!
