I've been receiving this email for MONTHS from Adobe. I had my account deleted and I even hit all their unsubscribe links. Is this a real email or spam?

It's Phishing. By hitting unsubscribe, you have confirmed you exist, and made more messages more likely. If you EVER respond, you will be infected with malware. It's a very serious problem. Please send files to phishing@adobe.com. They can't stop the messages but they can sometimes close down the infected sites which are being used to send them.

I've moved this from the poorly named Community Help forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Flash Player forum so that proper help can be offered.

So I'm bombarded with daily Adobe emails and there is no UNSUBSCRIBE anywhere in the emails. I go to my account and I don't see anywhere to unsubscribe. I talk to the chat guy for about 20 minutes and he doesn't know and has to refer me to a senior specialist. We're talking about simply unsubscribing from Adobe emails.

Does anyone know where I can go to unsubscribe from Adobe emails? Please!

Please copy and paste the email you are getting. The first post in this message showed someone was getting dangerous phishing messages, pretending to be from Adobe, but actually not.

It's difficult, at best, to determine if what you're getting is legitimate or not.  If you've signed up to receive Security Notifications (see https://www.adobe.com/subscription/adbeSecurityNotifications.html) then it's possibly legit, although, I'd be surprised if there's no way to unscubscribe.

You can also Notify Adobe of Security Issues by forwarding the email (as an attachment) to the appropriate email address for the issue you are reporting as noted on the website.

For your Adobe account, you can check your notifications at https://account.adobe.com/communication

For your Adobe Community Support account, you can check your notifications in Account Settings > Notifications.  Click on your avatar image in the upper right to display the menu.

Without seeing the email content, I would suggest first looking for clues that the email may be a phishing attempt:

  • Emails Demanding Urgent Action.
  • Emails with Bad Grammar and Spelling Mistakes.
  • Emails with an Unfamiliar Greeting or Salutation.
  • Inconsistencies in Email Addresses, Links & Domain Names.
  • Suspicious Attachments.
  • Emails Requesting Login Credentials, Payment Information or Sensitive Data.
  • Too Good to Be True Emails

Adobe does send out communications regarding subscriptions, service status, and other notifications but not on a daily basis. I suspect this is a phishing attempt with the volume and frequency so it's best you share your concern with Adobe:

How do I report an email, website or pop-up window that falsely claims to represent Adobe?

Contact phishing@adobe.com.
