Already updated my adobe but still unable to download a document on line

Hello on line professionals,

I already downloaded an updated version of Adobe Flash player but am still having difficulty downloading a document on the internet because according to the messages I receive after my attempts to download the document, "the version of Flash player on your computer is outdated and not supported. Please download and install the latests version of the Flash player" I have an outdated version of Flash player.

PLEASE HELP!!! The training seminar I am trying to download is for employment purposes and Its really urgent that I began working!!!!
