Cannot find Flash Player in the Control Panel on Windows

Perhaps there is a category called Flash Player on a Mac, but in Windows there is no Control Panel > Flash Player > Storage.

This popup is making me crazy.

Hey Brian,

I branched this to a new thread since I didn't want to confuse it with the other thread about Mac.

I'm assuming we're talking about Windows 7 with Firefox or IE.  Chrome is a different story.  The native control panel stuff has been around for 3-4 years at this point, so unless you're running an ancient copy of Flash Player, it should be there.  You might want to put the control panel in list view to make it easier to find alphabetically.  You can get the latest Flash Player at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

So go to Start > Control Panel, then click on the Flash Player icon (see the bottom right, below)

Control_Panel_FlashPlayer.PNG

The first tab that should open is the storage tab:

FlashPlayer_Storage.PNG

If you're doing this on Chrome, you'll need to go here:

http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.html

And then just set the slider to a reasonable default (10MB) and choose Never Ask Again.
