Hi Maria,

How do we deploy Flash player plugin for windows 10 machines via SCCM. For windows 7 we do it via SCUP.

Will the plugin is a part of adobe KB article released by Microsoft ?

Thanks & Regards,

Vaishali

Hi vaishaliu8678033

I branched your comment to a new discussion topic as the topic you posted to is not the same as your issue.

When you say 'Flash Player plugin', I'm not sure if you're referring to Flash Player NPAPI plugin for Firefox, ActiveX for IE/Edge, or PPAPI plugin for Chromium-based browser's.

Flash Player ActiveX Control is embedded in IE and Edge and all updates are released by Microsoft via Windows Updates, as such, Flash Player ActiveX for IE/Edge is updated when Windows Update runs,  not via SCCM.

For Flash Player NPAPI and PPAPI, use the SCUP catalog to install via SCCM.  While the SCUP catalog includes all three player types (Activex, NPAPI, and PPAPI), the ActiveX installation will fail silently as it doesn't run on Windows 10 (or Windows 8).

Hope this answers your question.
