How do we go about testing and validating that the enterprise enablement works prior to the "Time Bomb" of January 12, 2021?
There's a great description of how to do this in the Enterprise Enablement section of the Administrator's guide. See page 28.

Easiest way would be to temporarily set your system date to somewhere after Jan 12 and see if it works.

Might work for some things, but most of our sites leverage HTTPS. If you advance the Date/Time the certificate subsystem won't be seen as valid and will not allow you to access the webpage.
There should be a way for an enterprise to be able to test this in place before this becomes a reactive fire drill for the enterprise.

Wow - so not obvious...
From Pg 29 - under the "AllowListPreview" : "AllowListPreview is disabled (0) by default. When EnableAllowList=1, requests matching patterns are allowed, and all others are blocked. After Flash Player EOL, this setting will be ignored."
So, appears EnableAllowList=1 forces Flash into a "White List" mode and will only pass flash to those sites in the CFG file.
Ok - back to the LAB
