for macos version 10.13.06   flash version 31.0.0.108  on website  Play Knightmare Tower, and more Action Games! | Max Games

This game and all other flash games takes up extreme amounts of CPU when running, up to 200% or more. My computer also gets very hot. I spoke with apple and they confirmed its not an issue with their system after extensive troubleshooting.

Flash is an environment, like Java, so developers have to update their game/application/websites when major

changes appears in the assembly virtual machine to avoid new bugs or bad behaviors.

You must contact first the developers of the game/application for that.

Contact the game makers. Your computer is designed to use all its CPU, and to get hot. This is normal and what you paid for: people would complain if it didn't happen. Perhaps the game is wasting CPU though and it can be fixed.

Most recently released version of Flash Player is the worst ever. Everything runs in slow motion. Terrible what they did to it and no quality control to allow this to be released. Awful.

The Flash Player was DELIBERATELY SLOWED DOWN at the last update, for security reasons, to stop hackers taking over your machine. They say.

The company who makes the Flash site or game can make changes so it goes at the old speed, but only they can do it. No use complaining to Adobe or Apple or Google or anyone else.

Yeah, there's not much you can do about this from your end.  Adobe provides free performance profiling tools (Adobe Scout) to ActionScript developers, which allow them to identify and improve slow areas of code.

In the unlikely event that the developer finds a language-level performance issue, they can provide us with a detailed technical analysis sufficient to either effect a bugfix or make a recommendation for a better approach to whatever they're doing that's slow.

Like the other folks above have said, you should complain to the content provider.  There's not much that you can do about it, and there is more than likely ample opportunity for the game developer to improve performance in their application.

Please feel free to point them to this thread.  They're welcome to send me a private message (just click my username) if they need to get an engineering-level conversation going.

Thanks!
