Helo,

I'm trying to use FLASH to view YouTube

I'm using the path:

https://www.youtube.com/v/+"IdMovie "

But I get the error:

"Flash-Embedded videos are no longer supported,
But you can watch this video on YouTube."

Can someone please help me?

Same issue:

Web pages load at a crawl, and YouTube videos give me the Ouroboros of death.

It's frustrating.

Checked with provider. Speed is fine. Machine is fine.

YouTube videos give me the Ouroboros of death.

YouTube defaulted to HTML5 video several years ago.  right-clicking on the video will show the context-menu, which will indicate if it's HTML5 or Flash Player video.

It appears you're attempting to force YouTube to display a SWF file - most likely using Chrome or IE (you don't mention OS nor browser, so this is an assumption).  Recent releases of Chrome (and Chromium-based browsers) no longer support viewing SWF files in the browser.  I tested with the following on Windows 7:

Thanks, I had the issue too and simply copying the link after retrieving it from Powerpoint slides and pasting it on firefox browser, it leads to a website saying "Error....watch on youtube" just press that and it will open in a new tab on Youtube. sarabr206

Thanks for the update.  Given the age of this thread, I'm going to lock it.

Flash content embedded in Office documents is all click-to-play by default at this point, and will be going away entirely in future versions of Office 360.  We strongly recommend that you migrate away from Flash-based content in Office documents.
