Flash Player Installer installation error

A day after uninstalling Flash Player version 26 to troubleshoot PC issues, the Adobe Flash Player Online installer is having issues downloading the setup files and returns error "Application Initialization Error". I have Mozilla Firefox version 54 and Internet Explorer version 11. OS is Windows 7 64 bit. I looked at the FlashPlayerInstall32.log file, and the error code was "1226 1062". Any help would be appreciated.

I have found the solution and a workaround to my problem. The workaround was found in another thread and it was this link:  http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player.exeThe issue was that my Internet Security suite's network setting has encrypted connections scanning enabled. Disabling this feature allowed Flash Player downloader to retrieve the setup files. Shared Files - Acrobat.com   Shared Files - Acrobat.com I'm marking this issue as solved.

Hi,

1226 is unrelated to the online installer.  The online installer log files are saved at C:\Users\<YourUserID>\AppData\Local\Temp\Adobe_ADMLogs.  Please upload both of the files (Adobe_ADM.log and Adobe_GDE.log) to cloud.acrobat.com/send using the instructions at How to share a document and post the link to the uploaded files in your reply.
