Flash Player liefert Fehler bei der Anwendungsinitialisierung

Guten Tag,

Was tun?

Well I now thecked it with several other browsers and finally got through with IE. No idea why.

The visible difference was, that it downloaded an installer named flashplayer32pp_xa_install.exe, with which the download and installation worked. The file size was identical though.

Thanks for your support.

Hi frankspade,

1.180 KB is the size of installer that is downloaded. During installation, it downloads the actual files at runtime. That is why there is a size difference.

For "an error in the application initialization", which Operating System you are using?

Thanks

Thanks Neha,

the OS is Windows 10 Pro.
I figured the reason for the different file sizes, but find it misleading.

Thanks,

Frank

Hi Frank,

The Flash Player download page detects the browser and OS and offers the appropriate Flash Player for that browser/OS combination. If you want to install the ActiveX Control, you need to go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer using IE browser, on Windows 7 and below.  For Windows 8, Microsoft embeds Flash Player ActiveX in IE (and Edge on Windows 10) and all Flash Player ActiveX updates for IE/Edge are released by Microsoft via Windows Updates.  If you have Windows 8.1 and above, run Windows Updates to update Flash Player.

If browser is not a concern, you can simply download Flash Player via get.adobe.com/flashplayer using Chrome/Firefox browser and that will run fine.

Thanks

Why did you ask for my OS and then give an answer to all?

I have installed the latest version of Firefox and went to get.adobe.com/flashplayer, but its all the same.

Do you habe anything else to offer?

Hi Frank,

I asked your OS as going to get.adobe.com/flashplayer on IE browser is only for Windows 7 and below.

On downloading and installing from Firefox, are you facing the same error?

Can you please share a screenshot for the same?

Thanks

Neha
