I am trying to install Flash Player on a Windows 7 Virtual machine running Windows XP with Internet Explorer.  I keep getting the "no connection" problem.  None of the links to offline installers work now.  How do I do this?

Hi,

Have you done your virtual machine settings to allow internet connection. Can you access other sites like google.com. What version of Windows XP are you using? XP versions prior to SP3 do not support sha256 certificates, which Flash Player uses. If the version of your XP is not SP3, offline installers will not work.  In that case, your best bet is to upgrade to a supported operating system (see Adobe Flash Player | Tech specs ) or find a Service Pack 3 installation somewhere and install it.  This will enable you to install the latest version of Flash Player.

Thanks!
