The installation does not get past 50%. The exact same thing happened ten months ago when updating Acrobat Reader. The problem was solved by sending me a direct link for the Acrobat Reader download. PLEASE PLEASE send me a direct link for Flash Player download.

Hi Bani

I am on windows 7. Please send me a direct link to update Flash Player.

This was the only solution when I tried to update reader.

Thanks

Hi Kylevr23

The offline installers are posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier page in the 'Still having problems' section.

I'd like to troubleshoot why the online installer is failing, and would appreciate it if you could provide the installer log files.  Please upload the following files to cloud.acrobat.com/send and post the link to the uploaded files in your reply:

  • FlashInstall log file(s) saved at:
    • 32 Bit Windows: C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall32.log

    • 64 Bit Windows: C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall64.log AND C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall32.log - both files are required from a 64-bit os

  • Adobe_ADM.log and Adobe_GDE.log saved at C:\Users\<YourUserID>\AppData\Local\Temp\Adobe_ADMLogs

The AppData and Local Settings directories may be hidden see Show hidden files/folders to display it.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you.  I do see an error I'm not familiar with and will forward the files to the online installer team for review.

Are you using a proxy server or anti-virus software?
