The installation does not get past 50%. The exact same thing happened ten months ago when updating Acrobat Reader. The problem was solved by sending me a direct link for the Acrobat Reader download. PLEASE PLEASE send me a direct link for Flash Player download.

The offline installers are posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier page in the 'Still having problems' section.
I'd like to troubleshoot why the online installer is failing, and would appreciate it if you could provide the installer log files. Please upload the following files to cloud.acrobat.com/send and post the link to the uploaded files in your reply:
32 Bit Windows: C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall32.log
64 Bit Windows: C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall64.log AND C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall32.log - both files are required from a 64-bit os
The AppData and Local Settings directories may be hidden see Show hidden files/folders to display it.

I'm using Norton but I unistalled it and that didn't help.
