Hello,
I need assistance as Flash Player is driving me insane as normal (cant wait for HTML 5 to make it redundent in media streaming)
So the issue is as follows.
Running Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit edition
System specs more than meet the the minimum requirements for Flash player (High end AMD gaming system)
Using Google Chrome 15.0.874.106 m (which automatically keeps Flash Player up to date and my default browser) and IE 9 Version 9.0.8112.16421 (both 64bit edition and 32bit editions have exactly the same issues)
Using Flash on all other sites works.
Trying to view the embedded BBC player or BBC Iplayer and it doesnt work... The player just fails to load on the page.
Any ideas?

Would also like to add that this problem first started with the BBC Embedded player on the BBC news websites, it has since spread to the iPlayer site...
I have completely removed Flash player, 64bit/32Bit editions, Adobe Shockwave player, Adobe Air and i have even completely uninstalled Google Chrome and run a full regestry sweep for any remininents of flash/chrome then started a fresh install.
I reinstall Google Chrome as test bed first and still nothing switch over to see if i can make things work in IE both bit versions and nada.... It's gone so far now as to also damage Steam to the point i can't install Flash player for other browsers without it having a detrimental effect on everything that uses this paracitic web plugin...
*Edit*
I would also like to add that the Flash Global manager is set to allow 3rd party Flash content to store data on my computer and set to store common flash components to reduce download times, the storage limit is set to unlimited.
I have tested all variations of these settings no change....
Global security settings is set to always allow...
in my 4 times uninstalling cleaning and reinstalling i have also tried to clear my licence files as thoguht maybe this could be having a detrimental effect in accessing BBC licenced material, it has not...

Can you provide a URL where this BBC player occurs. I cannot see it anywhere on the BBC main site http://www.bbc.co.uk/

Sure this is a link for the BBC news website that includes the BBC Embedded player;
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/video_and_audio/
This is a link to the BBC iPlayer website.
If your outside the UK you wont be able to view BBC iPlayer content but you can view it through a Proxy.

I can see content fine on both links you gave, even though I am in Japan (using IE9 and Firefox 7 on Windows 7 Pro x64).
Let's first make sure that Flash Player works on your system; can you see the Flash animation at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ ?
What Flash Player version does it show you have installed?

Strange; I wonder why I can see it, but you cannot?
When you right-click on the player, do you see the same panel:

No because flash doesnt even load on the page, yet it loads fine for sites such as youtube sites that use Flash as a media streaming tool. On the BBC website instead of seeing a placeholder for flash content the plugin just doesnt load for both the BBC embedded player (BBC news website DRM free) and on the BBC iPlayer website (DRM Enabled)
Here are some images for informational purposes.
BBC Embeded Player (BBC News Website)

BBC iPlayer

To prove that Flash does work with other sites, heres IGN.com with flash player streaming media.
IGN.com

Youtube.com

My first thought about this is licencing, because its BBC content and obviously it's only available under licence to the British public, why i said you shouldnt be able to view content on the BBC iPlayer website because your in Japan.
You would however be able to view it through a proxy server then the iPlayer servers would think your in the UK. I'm very confused as to why you can actually see programs on the site tbh... As for content on the BBC News website that would be fine, It's not under an international licence restriction.
As i highlighted in my first post.. the following settings are set in the Flash Player Settings Manager.
Global Storage Settings Panel.
Never ask Again (Unchecked)
Allow Third-part Flash content to store data on your computer (Checked)
Store common Flash components to reduce download times. (Checked)
Global Security Settings.
Always allow (Checked)
Always trust these locations > www.bbc.co.uk
Web Privacy Settings
Website > www.bbc.co.uk (set to always ask) *theres no need to allow the website to my computer microphone or webcam...
Website Storage Settings
Website > www.bbc.co.uk - limit 10MB
Peer Assisted Networking Settings
Nothing set.
Also on a side note.
The BBC offers mutiple ways to watch its iPlayer content in the UK, obviously through the website embedded in to the webpage itself (using Flash Player) as well as downloading DRM protected versions of the program for Windows Media Player, Portable divices such as smartphones and finally and key here the BBC Desktop player, This is made using Adobe Air, i have tested this and it does work.
