Hi All,
We are receiving a below error while accessing Microsoft stream videos only on IE-11/ windows 7
We raised Microsoft Ticket #10867263 for the same, but this needs to be addressed from adobe end.
If we install old version of flash player issue is not there.
Below is the response from Microsoft
(We suggest to open an Adobe support Ticket and resolve the mms.cfg/whitelisting issue+ to get the schedule for new Adobe to fix release mentioned in http://blogs.adobe.com/flashplayer/2018/06/fp-spectre.html document.)
Hi Jeromie
It is an enterprise machine and there is no gpo deployed as such because with 28 or 29 version of flash player the videos are playing fine.

Please see Jeromie's reply (comment #4) at Re: Office 365 Videos are not playing in Internet Explorer -Flash Player
The fix for spectre/meltdown will not be reversed. The release notes, linked to in Jeromie's reply, contain instructions for a work-around.

Hi Maria,
Thanks for your response.
I have tested it by creating a mms.cfg file on "C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash" with the below content
EnableInsecureByteArrayShareable=1
EnableInsecureByteArrayShareableDomain=*.azureedge.net
Still it is not working Could you please suggest.

This looks like a different issue. In this instance, Azure Media Player fails to detect the presence of Flash Player. It's not even getting to the point where it tries to play a video (at which point, you might run into the issue that we referenced above).
So, there's something going on with your configuration that appears to result in Flash Player not being able to be invoked from the JavaScript on the page. I'm guessing that this is related to custom security configurations in IE or GPOs deployed in your environment. For end-users, it's usually related to ActiveX FIltering settings, but there is a multitude of ways for preventing Flash Player from running as a system administrator.
I'd start here, and just make sure you can confirm that Flash Player is actually enabled and runs:

Hi Jeromie,
Below is the result of the flash player test.
Tried to disable Shokwave addin and enable it again but there is no change.

From your screenshot, it looks like Flash Player is installed, but it isn't getting invoked by the browser. If this is an enterprise machine, you may have a GPO deployed that is preventing Flash Player from running. If it's a standard Windows installation on a home network, it's typically because you need to change the ActiveX filtering settings.
Did you follow the steps in the guide above for enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer?
