Flash Player won't install

Flash player has been crashing all day, so I decided to untinstall then re-install the program. Now it will start the process of installing, but when it initializes the actual instal it keeps telling me that Flash Player is still in use. What can I do to fix this?

You need to close all apps that actually use Flash Player.  Easiest restart your system, then run the downloaded installer before doing anything else.

make sure that you have no back ground application running that uses Flash player, normally you could start task manager and stop it from there under processes
