since flash player will no longer be working what should i use instead?

There is nothing to use instead.  Flash is dead.

Fortunately, nobody uses Flash based content much anymore.  Suggest you find other interests that don't rely on Flash Player.

There is no plugin replacing Flash Player.  The onus is on the content provider to migrate their content to some other technology.
