Flash refuses to install!

Every time i try to install the latest flash i get this.

Then when i close that it opens IE and this happens.

What the hell is going on? I used the uninstaller, rebooted and still i get this. Why the hell do game makers insist on using this crap? I'm using Win7 64 bit.

Are you downloading the latest version of Flash Player from Adobe Flash Player Install for all versions ? If not please share the url you used to download Flash Player. Are you using any ad-blockers on your machine?

Please share the Adobe_ADM log file from your machine. To get the location of log file, please go through Where do I find the Flash Player installation log on Windows? Once you have collected the logs, share/upload the same and share the url of uploaded files here. To see how to upload logs, you can refer to How to share a document .

Downloaded directly from Adobe. All browsers closed when trying to install so ad blockers are not active. IE is stock. No addons or extensions. There are none of those files on my comp.

Please try rebooting your machine once. If that does not help, you can use the offline installers available under 'Still having problems' section on Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier page.

FWIW, this looks like a GPU driver problem to me.

Could you provide the output of the DirectX Diagnostic Tool?

There are instructions for running dxdiag and posting the results down at the bottom of this video troubleshooting guide:

Just would like to add that i paid 2 grand for my comp 8 years ago and your product "Flash Player" has caused my computer to crash or lock up thousands and thousands of times. The day i got my computer it crashed 50 times trying to play a flash based game on the web. My computer HATES flash. I don't know if it's my processor or what i have changed everything but that. Had the exact same brand new motherboard DP45SG and swapped it and it still hates it. As of last month it would take my browser 20-30 seconds to release the flash player memory when closing a flash game on a webpage.

Let's deal with one problem at a time. I'm happy to help you with the other stuff, but I don't want to get side tracked and get nothing done.

There's definitely a newer graphics driver available for Win7 and the GeForce 210. That's a great place to start.

Cold-boot the machine after you update the driver to make sure that if the card itself is in a bad state, it gets a chance to discharge and reset.

If that doesn't help, make a new user on the machine and see if the problem happens there. If it doesn't, then it's something about the state of your user profile. Either way, this will narrow the field of possible causes significantly.

For a blank installer dialog window, please try the following:

Right-click on the installer file and select Properties
In the General tab click the Unblock button
Click Apply
Click OK to close the window
Double-click on the installer file to launch the installer
