Flash Update version 20

Explorer ,

Stable in IE 11

Stable in Firefox

Stable in Opera

Crashes regularly in Chrome when in multiple use. (Chrome updated, still crashes)

Its an improvement over the version 19 debacle but still needs work to make more stable across ALL platforms and systems.

How long will it take Adobe to address the issues raised elsewhere on this forum?

Okay, forget what I said in post 1, version 20 now freezes in Firefox - have to literally close it down and re-start.

Crashes in Opera now as well.

The only browser it seems to work ok in is IE11.

Another load of cr*p from Adobe.

Flash Player is a waste of space.

While I understand your frustration, Flash Player is a free product, and you're absolutely welcome to uninstall it at any time.

Uninstall Flash Player - Windows:

https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

That said, we're always game to improve the product, but "it crashes" doesn't provide us with any actionable information.

In order to effectively fix a crash, we need to be able to reproduce the problem under a C++ debugger, so that we can analyze what went wrong and fix it.  If you have a reproducible set of steps that always leads to a crash, that's super useful.

Short of that, a crash report might give us what we need, but frequently they're not helpful because the problem that ultimately caused the crash occurred thousands of cycles before the actual crash.

If you have a 64-bit Windows system, you'll get a *much* better Flash experience using the 64-bit Firefox Beta, which can be found here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/all/

If you're still having stability problems, submit crash reports from about:crashes and post the links here.  I'd be happy to have someone look at them.

Thanks!
