I play a zynga game called Farmville that requires flash player. I use chrome so it is already installed.  Because the game was loading so slowly on Chrome, I decided to use internet explorer and add the flash player extension.  Now I cannot get into the game.  How do I remove the extenstion from explorer?

Explorer and Edge are different things. In Windows 10, Flash Player is built into both. You cannot add it, and you cannot remove it, Microsoft has made sure of that. Downloading it changes nothing.

Since you mention Edge in the subject, I'm assuming you're using Windows 10.  As Test_Screen_Name indicates, Microsoft embeds Flash Player ActiveX Control in IE & and Edge browsers on Windows 10. All updates are delivered by Microsoft via Windows Update and there is no way of removing the embedded Flash Player ActiveX Control.  I don't know what 'flash player extension' you installed, but it wouldn't have been anything from Adobe, as the official Flash Player ActiveX Control installer from Adobe does not run on Windows 10
