Installing adobe fish player on an iMac

I cannot install adobe flash player on an iMac using OS 10.12.6. I have followed all the instructions, but it does not work? I cannot get any help from adobe.

What does "but it does not work" mean?  Is there an error?  Does installation complete successfully?  What browser are you using?  Please provide details information on behaviour observed so that we may be able to provide assistance.
