Mac 10.11.6 - Application Initialization error

• Mac 10.11.6
• safari Version 11.0.1 (11604.3.5.1.1)
• I downloaded flash , mounted it and opened it.. A few moments later get error message " Adobe flash player , Application Initilization error"
• If you get error messages, please provide a screenshot

When you mounted the DMG file, did you extract the APP file from the DMG to a different location (e.g. to the desktop)?  If so, please try again, without extracting the APP file from the mounted DMG.
