my adobe flash player is not working on my new imnac

Hi,

I am using boardmaker online and adobe flashplayer is required to crrate file. on my new IMac i still have flashplayer but I cant open / activate it. What can I do?Anke

I don't know what Boardmaker is but Flash Player is going away, forever, at the end of this year. However, Apple are ahead of the curve and have blocked it already in Macs with Safari 14.

No, we probably can't help you download Flash Player for Macbook air. Apple have blocked it a couple of months before everyone else.

Apple dropped support for Flash Player in Safari 14, released September 2020. You can use it in one of the other supported browsers, until Flash Player's end-of-life at the end of 2020:

• Chrome: embeds Flash Player PPAPI plugin - no need to download/install Flash Player separately
• Firefox: uses the same Flash Player NPAPI plugin Safari uses, so if you've already installed it then you don't need to download it again
• Opera: uses the Flash Player PPAPI plugin - you'll need to go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer using Opera to download the PPAPI plugin

All browser vendors block/disable Flash Player by default.  See https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html for information to unblock/enable Flash in the various browsers
