I need to download adobe flash player in order to access a website my son's teacher has assigned to use for school work.  I was able to download it but when it came to the next steps of enabling it on my mac laptop for safari there is no websites tab in the preferences section.  What should I do now?

What is the exact link to the content that isn't working (if it doesn't require account log in to access)?

Please ensure you are on a page that requires Flash.  If so and it still doesn't display in the browser's website preferences, please contact the content provider for assistance.

All browsers disable Flash by default.  The browser relies on the content's Flash detectio scripts to notify the user to allow Flash, if this isn't happening, the browser can't tell the content requires Flash and can't prompt you to enable Flash.  This interaction is completely between the browser and the content, not Flash.
