I deleted flashplayer in windows 10.
I wanted an updated version and I went to adobe.com
I somehow read the instructions to say "'DELETE FLASHPLAYER from your computer.
I DELETED it and cant get it downloaded because it tells me flashplayer is preinstalled in windows 10.
I know that...I did and it was but I deleted it.
Now it wants me to 'TEST" whether I have it installed or not
Now its telling me to enable flashplayer.
I can't. I don't have it installed
Apparently, not having it installed is giving the same message it would if it were disabled.
Please help me bypass these obstacles in downloading the latest version of flashplayer.
Believe it or not I have many sites that still require it,
MYHERITAGE.COM for one I'm tracing my heritage.
I got half way through AARPS Mature Driver's Program and couldn't finish it.
I am already at my wits end with windows 10 ..please save me
Rebecca

Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE and Edge on Windows 10 and there isn't a separate installer for it. You can try running Windows Update to see if it'll reinstall Flash Player

Resetting Windows may have catastrophic consequences (e.g. data loss), so I would recommend backing up anything you need if you choose this option.
