Problems Installing Flash Player Windows 10

Fresh Install of Windows 10 Pro

Version 1803

OS build 17134.320

Intel Core i7 CPU 3.07 Ghz

36 GB Ram

Every time I try to install Flash or Reader the Install Window will pop up and then close immediately.  Can't install it on this fresh Reset of Windows 10?  Please help??

1)  So I downloaded the install from Adobe

2)  Went to download folder and clicked on the EXE.

3)  System brought what appeared to be a small empty Adobe window.

4)  Then immediately the window closes. (Same thing happens with Adobe Reader???)

5)  I checked Task Mgr to make sure it wasn't doing something crazy.

6)  I checked Defender was disabled for both Firewall and AV (No other AV on this install yet)

7)  I went to the Adobe_ADM file to see what was going on and it appears to have a "Error CB_PktID_Terminate" Error.

I was using one from your web site..  Something was stopping this and the other Adobe software.  I just reinstalled the OS as the PC was just acting funny on a couple of installs.  After I re-installed the OS it appears to be working fine now.  (Windows 10 RESET did not work.)  We can close this.Adobe Flash Player Install for all versions /get.adobe.com/flashplayer/Version 31.0.0.108System requirementsWindows 64-bit , English , FirefoxNeed Flash Player for a different computer?

You provided the log file for a Reader installation, not Flash Player.  Since this is the Flash Player forum, and we don't work on Reader, please provide the appropriate Flash Player installation log file and post the Reader installation log file to the appropriate Acrobat Reader forum as they'll have the expertise to assist you with a Reader installation.

What is the name of the installer file you are using?  There are many installer files and having this tells us exactly which one you are using.

I'm not familiar with the error and will forward it to the online installer team for further review.

I was using one from your web site..

This isn't very informative as we literally have hundreds of online/shim installers for the various operating systems, browser, and optional third party offerings. These download Flash Player and the optional third party offering silently in the background.  Since an online/shim installer was being used, providing the file name would have enabled me to use the exact file you were using to attempt to reproduce the issue.
