I am sick and tired of trying to use Adobe !! I have reset passwords etc etc and nothing works, why can't it be made simple and easy to understand.

Sounds like you're being prompted for a password to install Flash Player.  This isn't Flash Player prompting for the password, but your operating system.  The user_id and password is that of your system, not Adobe.  For more information see:What userid & password do I need to install Flash Player?
